Established in 1945 as Arbutus Refrigeration, founder George Link had a vision of Quality Service backed by Family Values. Starting with a single service truck, Arbutus blossomed into one of the leading HVACR companies in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 1989 George handed down the company to his son Joe, who built the empire of what Arbutus stands for today. Joe not only worked under his father but when he became the owner, he innovated the HVACR industry by producing quality work the old fashioned way with 24/7 service and Kitchen Equipment sales. Joe revolutionized and developed technicians with an average of 20 years’ experience in Service and Installation work. As the industry evolved with new standards from EPA and DOT, and new technologies with Smart Defrost and Computer operated Refrigeration System he set the standard in the industry with innovative technicians that continue to provide quality installations that last. Acquired by the Reynolds Family of Delta Restaurant Equipment in 2023, they thrive to continue the knowledge and family values that the company was built around.
